"Mamma Mia! What a great place, genuine and caring chef, delicious food and lovely atmosphere! I chose this Bistro to celebrate my birthday and was more than satisfied that I didn’t go somewhere else. The chef and staff made me feel special with their hospitality and attention to detail, the dishes were all beyond tasty and I left the restaurant with a big smile. A must visit (best with reservation) when in Verona."
"I had an amazing lunch here today. The chef/owner was very welcoming as was the waiter. The food was amazing as was the Soave wine. The anchovy antipasti was really good. The stracchino and pistachio tortellini was amazing. All the flavors with stracchino, the arugula, and the pistachio melded together to create the perfect harmonious melody of flavors. The tiramisu might have been the creamiest tiramisu I've ever had and I'm a self proclaimed tiramisu connoisseur whose eaten tiramisu at least a hundred times in Italy including at several Michelin starred restaurants. I'm tempted to go back here before I leave Verona just for the tiramisu."
"Our favourite dining experience in Verona. Everything—from the wine to the cold cuts and pasta dishes—was excellent. My girlfriend said it was the best tiramisu she’s ever had. The atmosphere was lovely, and the prices were fair. Definitely recommend."
"A true gem in Verona! We discovered this absolute gem in the old part of Verona and fell in love. The atmosphere is magical - opera music playing in the background with the chef constantly singing along, which made our evening so special. The food was magnificent; the risotto was impressive, and the 'zero-calorie' signature tiramisu was the perfect (and delicious!) finale. Top-notch service as well. A huge thank you for such an unforgettable experience!"
"We walked back from the town to our hotel on first night when we reached Verona. This was one of the eatery along this smaller street. On second day after the walk in town we decided to have early dinner along the walkway back and found this restaurant which was open for business. We ordered menu of the day (Salmon Crepes) and chicken with pumpkin sauce. The steamed octopus salad was in the standard menu. We had local wine which was their house wine and it’s with sweet taste. We love everything served here. To end we ordered it freshly made Tiramisu and it’s totally delicious. So far it’s the best we have tried in Italy. Highly recommended for those who wanted to try fusion Italian food after few days of pasta pizza elsewhere. For the service, the staff and owner were friendly and attentive. Our spent was not high because we were full from the pastries coffee and did not order much."
"It was an experience, one of the best I’ve had in Italy. You know the food is gonna be good when they play classical opera music in the background and the restaurant smells like truffles and they have actual fabric serviettes instead of paper ones. The waiters are very polite, friendly and professional and very attentive. Was able to get a table without a reservation without any wait time. However, it seems like a very popular place and would recommend to make a reservation. I had pork sausage with mashed potatoes as the starter and the duck ragu dish as the main one. Both were so delicious and pure perfection. Wish I could have tried more dishes, but I was quite full. Wanted to finish with something sweet and ordered tiramisu to see how it measures up compared to other places I’ve dinned in Italy and it was different. They made it on the spot when I ordered it and it’s not the traditional one where biscuits are soft when it soaks the coffee. Unfortunately tiramisu is a miss for me. However, would still highly recommend the restaurant."
"Great place for food. I particularly like seating outside, with heater. Sounds of Italian opera music playing softly at background! The boil octopus salad was great , ample amount of octopuses. The gamba (shrimp) spaghetti was great taste with the right kick of garlic and spice. The shrimp was firm but not much taste tough. Horse stew was an adventures option. We enjoyed the overall experience."
"What a lovely find! The staff were delightful, and often singing behind the bar. The food was excellent. We loved everything we ordered. The duck ragú and beef dish with polenta were both amazing. My husband loved his tiramisu (yes, we know it’s a touristy thing to order), but it was very, very good. They have a very nice wine list as well. The atmosphere is cozy but unpretentious. Prices are reasonable given the quality of food and area of town. Highly recommend."
